Google Business Profile

Your Google presence, managed with a clear plan.

Google says local results are driven primarily by relevance, distance, and prominence. I improve the parts we can influence, track the same searches over time, and show you what changed.

The problem

A profile can exist and still leave a lot of opportunity on the table.

I often find profiles with the wrong category, missing services, old photos, unanswered reviews, or a website that does not match what the business actually wants to rank for.

Fixing those gaps does not guarantee a specific map position. It gives Google clearer information and gives customers a more complete reason to choose you when you do appear.

One search is not the whole picture.

Someone a block away can see a different order than someone three miles away. That is why I use repeatable map-grid scans instead of judging progress from one phone search.

The first two weeks

First, I fix the foundation.

Ownership and access, recovered.

Before anything else, the profile has to be yours. If an old marketing company, an ex-employee, or a Gmail account nobody remembers is holding it, I run the recovery process with Google and get ownership back into your hands. If there are duplicate or unverified listings splitting your reviews, they get merged or removed when Google allows it.

Categories and services, corrected.

I review the primary and secondary categories, build out the service list, and make sure the profile accurately describes the work you actually want. The website and profile should tell the same clear story so Google can better understand relevance.

Photos that look like a real company.

I replace stale or weak profile imagery with real job-site photos, organize the profile, and keep the visual proof current so customers can quickly tell the business is active and legitimate.

Your name, address, and phone, kept consistent.

I look for obvious mismatches across the places customers and search engines use to verify basic business information, then fix what can be corrected so the profile and website stay consistent.

Then, ongoing

Keep the information current and useful.

Ongoing management is less about posting for the sake of activity and more about keeping the profile accurate, current, responsive, and aligned with the website and the work you want.

  • Useful profile updates

Real job photos, service changes, seasonal information, and business updates when there is something worth showing. The goal is a current, complete profile, not posting just to hit a quota.

  • Fresh job photos

You text me photos from jobs. I pick the useful ones, organize them, and get them onto the profile and site where they support trust and relevance.

  • Questions answered clearly

Common customer questions get answered in the places customers actually look, so they can understand the service, process, and next step without digging.

  • Every review answered

New reviews get a professional response, including rough ones. The goal is to show customers that the business pays attention and handles feedback seriously.

What to expect

Measure progress instead of promising a rank.

The profile cleanup happens quickly. Ranking changes do not run on a guaranteed timetable because distance, competitors, search intent, and Google's systems all matter.

What I can promise is transparency. Every month you see the same visibility measurements, tracked inquiries, review movement, what I worked on, and what I plan to do next.

Your part

Owner access to the profile

You own it, I manage it. If you can't get in, recovering access is my first job.

Job photos, texted to me

Before-and-afters, trucks, crews. You shoot, I handle the rest.

License and insurance details

For the places that require verification, and ready if you ever add Local Services Ads.

Fifteen minutes a month

One short call if you want to walk through the report and what's next.

Found, not searched for

When somebody two suburbs over needs your trade, your profile is the whole first impression.

Ownership

You own everything.

  • Your Google Business Profile
  • Your domain
  • Your website
  • Your reviews

All registered to you from day one. If we ever part ways, it all stays with you. Plenty of marketing companies hold this stuff hostage. I put it in writing that I won’t.

The profile is one part of one system. It helps you get found, the website helps turn that visibility into contact, and the review and follow-up system helps protect the opportunity once a customer reaches out.

Free visibility report

See where you stand on Google. Free.

Send me your business name. Within 48 hours I’ll send back a simple visibility report showing your Google Maps presence, profile, website, reviews, nearby competition, and the first things I’d improve.

It is a smaller version of the report clients receive every month. No sales call required. If you want, I can also walk you through it afterward.
